Buckleguy.com LLC terms are ex-warehouse. International customers are responsible for all taxes, fees, duties, brokerage fees, etc. once the package leaves the warehouse and for importing the items into their country.
International Shipment Discounts on Shipping
We can ship virtually anywhere in the world using UPS or US Postal Service (USPS). We have negotiated shipping rate discounts from UPS but our web site will not show these discounts. We also offer USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes and First Class mail which can be considerably less than UPS.
When international orders are placed we will contact you with the different options and costs so that you can decide which is best for you. When we make the shipment we will refund you the amount of the difference that you where charged on your order. This averages between 10 to 25% or more of what shows up on your order.
Taxes and duty fees are standard for all shipments entering Canada. It breaks down to Canada's federal and provincial sales tax and is assessed by province on the actual cost of the goods in the shipment. For example, in Ontario the customer will pay around 13% of the value. This amount goes directly to the Canadian gov't. This fee is charged to the customer once the package arrives in Canada, it is not included in the cost on our website. There is also a fee charged by the shipping company to cover paperwork etc for brokering the parcel through customs. For USPS/Canada Post, this fee is pretty small, $5 - $10. UPS, FedEx etc., brokerage starts at $35 and doubles as the cost of the goods goes up. Hence why we usually prefer to have our shipments sent USPS as opposed to UPS to Canada. Canadian customers pay these amounts on all of buckleguy packages and just about anything coming from outside Canada.
You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a refund. Sorry we can not refund shipping costs. Please note that we MUST receive the returned items in the original packaging as it was shipped out to you in order to receive a refund. There may be up to a 25% restocking fee depending upon quantities and inspection results. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If the site is not accepting your shipping destination, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to add your location to our shipping locations. If UPS services your area, we should be able to add it to our website.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. We will email you a tracking # so you can track your package once it ships from out warehosue. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Why can't I ship with a small flat rate box? It only allows me to use medium.
Currently, we are unable to allow customers to place orders into "small flat rate boxes". All orders are ending up in either "medium" or "large" flat rate boxes despite being able to fit into a "small". We realize this issue, and for your convenience we will personally be placing all orders that fit into a "small" box into the "small" flat rate box. We will also be refunding you the difference in the postage cost after the order is placed, saving you money! At present US Mail is working with our website provider to update our shipping process.
