Material Thickness: With 3/4" of needle lift, this machines can stitch through 5/8" of stiff veg leather.

Stitching: Max of 3.3 stitches per inch, and up to 100 stitches per minute based on your manual speed.

Typical Uses:

1. Saddle makers and leather craft manufacturers: Gun holsters, belts, knife sheaths, leather harnesses, saddles, handbags, wallets, horse tack, bridles, briefcases, leather bags, shoes etc.

3. Mobile military workshops: In conditions where there is no electricity and repair of military equipment on the ground is necessary. An excellent machine for sewing nylon and Kevlar straps, harnesses, tow straps, slings, and lifting harness and slings. Works well on ballistic nylon as well.

4. Beginner in leather work: Very easy machine to operate. One lever pull at a time creates a precise lockstitch. One of the most simple to maintain machines on the market. Very little chance of operator error as it impossible for the machine to run too fast. The speed is regulated by the handle pull of the operator.

5. Children and young adult safe: Children can easily learn to use, operate, and maintain the Cowboy Outlaw. There is a much reduced chance of injury when using this hand operated machine over motorized machines due to the simple design of the machine.

Advantages:

1. Precise step-by step stitching for detailed sewing work. The Cowboy Outlaw stitcher is a great tool for doing repairs on leather goods that have already been sewn, as the operator can match each hole stitch for stitch.

2. Power free. It is also very light (compared to powered machines) and so offers a great deal of portability. Great for handmade leather workshop and saddlery.

3. The Cowboy Outlaw uses a jump foot needle feed mechanism to pull the material through the machine, which results in very consistent stitch lengths, as well as perfectly spaced stitches.

4. The hook, race, and bobbin for the Outlaw has been previously unused in machines of this type in the past. Far less skipped stitches can be achieved with the Outlaw due to this precision hook, bobbin, and race design.

5. The OUTLAW leather hand crank stitcher is a hand-powered leather sewing machine capable of sewing up to 3/4 inch thick leather, as well as nylon, canvas, urethane, plastic, sheepskin, webbing, beta, biothane, and more.

6. Built tough with an extremely durable, precision cast iron frame instead of an aluminum frame, and all steel parts instead of zinc extruded parts, there are no soft metals used at all in the machine.

Very Satisfied!

I have been waiting to buy this machine for four years; I got hurt at work and was unable to buy it then. I have it know, and I am very happy with my purchase and transaction that I had with the Buckly Guy.

Works as expected and with some practice you will turn out some nice stitching. It seems that the availability of spare parts are not listed anywhere online. I went to the manufactures web site and could not fine any source of spare parts.

Great machine!

Love this sewing machine so far! I was worried about the hand crank vs a motor but it's honestly not a big deal at all and gives more margin for error since there's no motor spinning doing stitches that one wouldn't want. Highly recommend especially with this price point, worth every penny in the ti...

Excellent.

Built like a tank. Not too bad of a learning curve. Slow, steady and rhythmic to use. Still running the pretty chunky thread it came with and it definitely excels at 'heavy duty'. Excited to see how 'fine' it can go. Could see how it may not be 'for everyone' but if you are even considering this mac...

So far so good. Still

So far so good. Still drilling in the tension and learning it. Haven’t mastered the tension knots still on top but I’ll get it eventually.
