Renia Super-FIX Contact Cement

Renia Super-FIX is a professional-grade, high-tack contact adhesive engineered for footwear, orthotics, and leathercraft applications that demand fast grab and dependable bond strength. Designed for both repair shops and production environments, Super-FIX delivers consistent performance across a wide range of materials commonly used in leather and shoe work.

Formulated as a polychloroprene-based contact cement, Super-FIX provides aggressive initial tack with a flexible, transparent bond designed to perform under repeated stress. The adhesive offers a practical open time that supports accurate positioning of components before permanent contact. It supports both cold bonding and heat reactivation workflows, giving makers flexibility across different shop processes.

Toluene-free and workshop friendly, Super-FIX is widely used for general shoe repair, orthotic work, and multi-material leather assemblies where reliable high-grab performance is required.

Application Instructions:

1. Prepare the surfaces
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oils, dust, or finishes. Lightly roughen smooth materials such as rubber or EVA for improved adhesion.

2. Apply adhesive
Apply an even coat to both mating surfaces using a brush or roller in a well-ventilated area.

3. Allow to tack
Let the adhesive dry until tacky (typically approximately 5 to 50 minutes depending on temperature and humidity).

4. Bond surfaces
Join surfaces carefully and apply firm, even pressure. Repositioning is limited once contact is made.

5. Cure fully
Bond strength continues to build over time, with best results after approximately 24 hours. Heat reactivation may be used if the open time is exceeded.
