Harness:
The Hoffmans Harness leather is a full grain, oiled, and shiny leather with a slight pull-up. It has a 100% aniline finish, is polishable, and water repellant. It is a chrome leather but has a stiffer vegetable character and look.
---------------------------------------
Michigan:
The same leather as Hoffmans 'Palmer' but not tumbled, so slightly stiffer with a smoother grain. The Michigan leather is a full grain, has a 100% aniline finish, is polishable and water repellant. It is a chrome leather but has a vegetable character and look.
---------------------------------------
Palmer:
The most popular in the Hoffmans line, Palmer is a full grain, tumbled leather. It has a semi-aniline finish, is polishable and water repellant. It is a chrome leather but has a vegetable character and look. It is the same leather as Michigan, but a tumbled version.
---------------------------------------
Paris:
The Paris leather is a full grain Nappa leather with a waxy top that is tumbled with a smooth surface grain. It is water repellant and has a pigmented finish. Nappa leather by nature is a very soft leather, however with use of particular tannins during the tanning process it is extremely durable. It is also a breathable leather and is chrome tanned.
---------------------------------------
Sprinter Nevada:
Sprinter Nevada is a full grain, embossed (AKA plated) and tumbled leather. The embossing procedure is where the leather is stamped with a grain texture, giving the grain a very consistent look. Rather than being shrunken and tumbled to achieve a natural grain texture like the standard 'Sprinter' leather, the 'Sprinter Nevada' leather is plated, so not as natural of a grain texture, but giving the grain a more consistent texture throughout the entire skin. It is a 100% aniline finish and is water repellant. It is a chrome leather.
---------------------------------------
Sprinter:
Sprinter is a full grain, shrunken and tumbled leather giving it an irregular grain character. Rather than being plated with a grain like the 'Sprinter Nevada', the regular Sprinter leather is naturally shrunken and tumbled giving the leather a natural and irregular grain - meaning the grain is less consistent in texture. It has a semi-aniline finish and is water repellant. It is a chrome leather.
