I had difficulty aligning the two prongs into the body. They would not go down into the fittings like the originals. It works, but not ideal.

Thread zap replacement tips
Perfect for my rechargeable thread zapper. They fit perfectly even though the brand was different from the actual unit.

I am so use to
I am so use to my lighter that it took alittle practice. Now I reach for it all the time.

Thread Zap 2
I like this item better than a lighter. Especially when I am working with a waxy pullup leather.

Get a pack of replacement tips with it.
The tip that came installed would get warm, but not hot enough to melt Riza 0. 6. Thankfully I bought a pack of replacement tips with it. After swapping that tip out with a new one it works just fine. It’s not a high-dollar piece of equipment so it wasn’t that big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

We have used the Thread Zap II for a couple of years. It is a highly recommended product and these replacement tips arrived promptly and work great.
