1-1/2" Belt Leather Kit - DIY

Ready to make a leather belt with some of the finest materials?! This kit is great if you are just starting out in leather craft or need to make a gift. 

Materials list:

This kit comes with just about everything you need to make this leather belt. The only additional tools needed are a mallet and a knife for cutting leather. We recommend a craft knife or box cutter.

• 1 pc  - 1-1/2" wide leather strap, 55-60" length, 8-10oz thick (you choose the color)
• 1 pc  - Belt loop in same color as strap
• Instructions - Step-by-step & How-to. This includes printable sheet for cutting belt tip and placing holes
• 1 pc  - 1-1/2" solid brass belt buckle (style: 1035) made at our factory (you choose the color)
• 2 pc  - Chicago screws in same color as buckle
• 1 pc  - Thread to secure belt loop
• 1 pc -  Hole punch
• 1 pc  - Beeswax for burnishing
• 1 pc  - Sandpaper & Canvas for edges

• Wickett & Craig - Natural Carving: 100% vegetable tanned, this is a stiff natural leather and one of the most popular from Wickett. Since this leather is natural, it is great for dying, coloring, stamping, carving and more. It will also patina over time to a beautiful dark natural color.

Hardware:

• Solid Brass: The buckle is style 1035, a core item at our factory for the past 40 years! Choose which hardware finish you would like. If no hardware finish is selected, then you will receive Natural Brass.
