- Scrap bundles come with both large and small remnant pieces cut from all areas of the hide. These pieces are great for small leather items, trim, repairs, practice, wallets, key fobs, test pieces, and many other leather projects.
Grade: Scrap comes from the same top-grade leathers we sell as panels, straps, sides, etc. Please note that scrap remnants will often come with imperfections, irregular shapes, mixed grain areas, or other natural variation.
About the Leather Types:
- Cowboy: Cowboy is a hot-stuffed, veg-tanned, 100% aniline leather with an aggressive pull-up and greased, matte grain that bursts with color when folded.
- Gaucho Oil: Inspired by South America's gaucho herdsmen, Gaucho Oil is a leather prized for its rare combination of glossy grain and pull-up character, available in earth tones and brights.
- Invecchiato: La Bretagna's iconic Invecchiato tannage is a tumbled, hand-stained leather with a pebbled grain, marbled double-tone coloring, and an ironed, glossy finish.
- Camo: Full grain, vegetable tanned leather from Italy with a 100% aniline camo finish. Built on La Bretagna’s Pecos tannage, it has a rich Tuscan vachetta base with a three-tone camouflage pattern created through drum dyeing and rolled-on aniline color layers.

How much scrap leather will I get?
How many pieces of leather are in each scrap box depends on the weight, thickness, and shapes of the leather remnants. Below are just examples of typical yields for scrap leather boxes. Every box is unique and contains pieces of many varying shapes, sizes, and usability.
- Light Weight (2.5-7.5oz) – Approx. 5 sq ft per pound
- Heavy Weight (8-12oz) - Approx. 2.5 sq ft per pound

Yes! Our scrap leather boxes are made up of the same quality leathers we sell in larger cuts, just marked down because of the odd shapes and remnant mixture. These boxes are a great option for smaller projects, testing, repairs, and leatherworkers who want top leather at a lower price.
