Renia Primer for PUR is a specialty surface treatment designed to prepare polyurethane (PUR) materials for reliable bonding with contact adhesives. This professional-grade primer chemically activates aged or difficult PUR surfaces, significantly improving adhesion performance in footwear repair, orthotic work, and technical leathercraft applications. Its extremely fast flash time supports efficient workflows when bonding PUR foam soles and similar substrates.

Application Instructions:

1. Prepare the surface
Clean the PUR material thoroughly and roughen if appropriate to remove contaminants and improve mechanical grip.

2. Apply the primer
Apply a thin, even coat of Renia Primer for PUR using a brush or dauber. Avoid heavy application.

3. Allow to flash off
Let the primer dry completely. The surface should appear matte and dry to the touch. Dry time is typically very fast under normal workshop conditions.

4. Apply contact adhesive
Apply your CR-based contact adhesive according to its instructions.

5. Bond the materials
Join parts using firm, even pressure once adhesive reaches proper tack.
