Renia Syntic-TOTAL Vinyl Adhesive
Renia Syntic-TOTAL is a solvent-based polyurethane contact adhesive made for footwear, vinyl, orthotics, and multi-material leathercraft applications. This professional-grade formula is designed to create strong, flexible bonds on materials that can be difficult for standard contact cements, including PVC and other synthetics. Known for its excellent resistance to plasticizers and fast crystallization, Syntic-TOTAL delivers dependable handling strength shortly after bonding. It dries clear, resists yellowing, and can be used for both cold bonding and heat reactivation workflows. All Renia adhesives are 100% free of Toluene and MEK.

- Allow to tack: Let dry until tacky, typically about 5 to 30 minutes depending on material and conditions.
- Bond surfaces: Join carefully and apply firm, even pressure. Repositioning is limited once contact is made.
- Cure: Bond strength continues to build over approximately 24 to 72 hours. Heat reactivation may be used if required.
Common Uses:
- Bonding vinyl (PVC) components
- Footwear construction and repair
- Orthotic and prosthetic fabrication

Contact Adhesives vs Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSAs)
- Contact adhesives bond instantly when both sides are joined and are difficult to reposition afterward.
- Pressure sensitive adhesives will not bond until pressure is applied and can be repositioned until then.
