Caiman Yacare Crocodile Leather Belt Strap with Included Keeper, Tab & Screws

Made in the USA from Grade 1 Caiman Yacare hides ethically sourced from Bolivia, our authentic caiman belt straps are fully finished and require only the addition of a buckle of your choosing. Caiman leather is from the same crocodilian family as crocodile leather and alligator leather. Each strap is cut exclusively from true flank sections, showcasing prominent flank scale patterning with natural variation unique to every piece.

The exterior caiman is drum dyed for full color penetration and a rich, consistent tone. The backside is lined with premium Italian nubuck leather for structure and durability. Straps are both cemented and stitched for long term performance, and edges are hand painted for a clean, refined finish.

Setup Instructions:

Trim strap along straight end to desired length (See chart below).
Punch 2 new holes in center of strap along straight end. The first hole should be 1/2" from the end and the second hole should be 1-3/4" from the end (Use as a reference the original 2 holes on the straight end the strap came with before trimming).

Use a 1/8" punch to punch holes:

Option #1: 147-2 Round Punch – 1/8"
Option #2: 245-2 Belt Punch – 1/8"

Position included leather tab around buckle of choice folding around straight end. Line up the holes on the tab with the 2 new holes on the belt on each side of the strap.
Secure tab and buckle to belt using the 2 included Chicago screws.

Before securing the second screw, insert included leather keeper onto the tab between the two Chicago screws.
