Buckleguy is a distributor of Wickett & Craig leather. We stock a full range of vegetable tanned skirting leather, carving leather, and English bridle leather, traditional harness and milled deer embossed harness leather. Founded in 1867, Wickett & Craig resides in Curwensville, Pennsylvania here in the USA. W&C is known for producing some of the highest end veg tanned leathers in the world, with rich colors, natural durability, and beautiful patina. It is leather that gets better with age. Wickett & Craig leather is used for bags, belts, wallets, accessories, shoes, and equestrian gear such as bridles, saddles, and straps. We also sell a variety of Wickett & Craig leather straps. 

We stock the following leathers:

English Bridle Leather: A finished leather that is drum dyed and hot stuffed (saturated with waxes, oils and tallows). More about English Bridle Leather

Traditional Harness Leather: Hot stuffed and 'jack glazed' creating a beautiful and glossy top grain. More about Traditional Harness Leather

'Milled' Traditional Harness Leather: Similar to traditional harness, but embossed and tumbled making it more supple.

Skirting Leather: Similar to bridle leather but not hot stuffed, so used more for tooling, molding and finishing.

Carving/Tooling Leather: This unfinished leather molds and tools beautifully and will take on dye and oil.
